Thanos better enjoy his nice moment looking at the sunset, because it sure looks like Captain Marvel and Black Widow are on his tail ahead of the release of the next chapter of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Avengers: Endgame. The movie hits theaters on Friday.

Brie Larson and Scarlett Johansson showed up sporting some impressive gems on their left hands, proving that the big purple guy (Josh Brolin) isn’t the only one sporting a full array of colorful rings. These rings, with their array of colors and golden trim, of course represent the six infinity stones that Thanos has snatched over the course of the Marvel films.

While Johansson’s Black Widow already had a shot at the villain in Infinity War, Endgame marks the first appearance for Larson’s Captain Marvel—referred to by some as the most powerful hero in this wild universe that they’ve built.

Thanos’ Infinity Gauntlet is the driving force behind both Infinity War and Endgame—possessing all five stones is what gave him the power to kill half the universe with that one simple finger snap. Now, it’s up to the original six Avengers—Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hawkeye, The Hulk, and Black Widow, with the help of a few stragglers (Ant-Man, War Machine) and a new addition (Captain Marvel), to figure the whole thing out.

With a different ring—and a different color—representing the Reality, Soul, Mind, Space, Time, and Power stones that have long served as the MCU’s Macguffins, Larson and ScarJo showed that even their off-screen personas aren’t about to stand down. Avengers: Endgame marks the seventh MCU appearance for Johansson, and, of course, the second for Larson. Captain Marvel has just gotten started, so Larson should figure to be around for quite a while; Johansson’s Black Widow might be in a bit more trouble, but with a solo film for her character finally in the works, it’s hard to be too worried.

Fans will finally be able to see the conclusion to the Thanos saga this weekend, when Avengers: Endgame opens nationwide.
